Because I don't wanna do homework :D

Haha, wow! When was the last time I posted something?? Guess I got too lazy HA!

So yeah, apparently I decided to try and be all artsy and shit....LOL....I was in the middle of doing my English homework and then realized I had Biology homework due tomorrow...so I decided to start on that, but I got distracted by my roses and started taking pictures of them....then I felt like being all artsy and pulled out sheet music that the printers screwed up and took pictures :D (hmm...I kinda wanna photoshop these later....) Anyways, I'm sad because my roses are starting to die....=[....but my roses actually bloomed because I used FILTERED water hahahaha! Everyone else who used regular faucet water had roses that just withered lollllll...yeah, that's Pittsburgh water for ya....there are times I was afraid to brush my teeth because the water looked so murky...=_=

I should upload my less "artsy" pics of my roses later :D they bloomed really prettily ^^ YAY!

yeah...so I guess I should continue doing my homework now....oh fudgeballs...

Life in college...so far...

Lol idk there isn't much to say about college other than it's like a more hardcore replica of iolani....except more korean ppl and indian people lol! anyways i've been observing for a while and here's what i have so far:
1. 90% of the guys here talk like kevin duong....i wanna laugh everytime i hear it but people would give me weird looks
2. there are voices that sound like jon wong's
3. there is a chubbier version of clay from physics C..(i remember his name now)
4. there is a taller version of david here
5. there is also a taller version of sam shimogawa
6. there is a korean version of kendall huang here
7. there is a dude here who walks around with a 3-3.5 inch thick physics textbook on his head...and it doesn't fall off...wtf??
8. i'm reading my textbooks....HUH?!!!
9. out of like the 50-60 people in my intro to civil engineering class there are approximately 5 asian girls and 3 asian boys...the rest are all caucasian
10. other than my physics TA, i'm probably the only chinese person in the recitation class....theres another asian girl...maybe she's chinese too?
11. there are way too many fobs on campus....actually....i think 99% of all the asians here are fobs..
12. my intro to civil engineering professor looks like a tomato....but occasionally he looks like a slice of tomato
13. my calc TA looks like a potato...with a hint of m&m (depending on what color shirt he's wearing)
14. my calc professor looks like a kidney bean...(many people agree)
15. i still gotta figure out what my physics teacher and TA resemble
16. there are many guys who look like girls from behind....i love watching them and the process me of trying really hard to figure out their gender....
17. yesterday, i saw this korean boy as i was coming back to my dorm...i was so excited, i put off homework to draw him HAHAHA!!

Well, hahaha, I'm leaving guys....I'll be in San Francisco for about a week and then I'll be off to Pittsburgh.....for COLLEGE.....geez.....already....I dun even know what to feel.....I'm really sad tho.... before all I wanted to do was leave Hawaii....but now....I feel like I don't even want to leave....anyways i'll try to update as much as possible....but yeah, I leave in about 4.5 hours and i still havent finished packing.......so hahaha I'm gonna go pack now!

another post??!!!!

Oh my gaaaawwd.....I just posted like two days ago! What am I doing here again?!!!

Yeah, well not as I promised, I didn't draw those dresses hahaha! BUT! I did make myself a new wallpaper! It's actually a wallpaper and calendar in one!!! I turned on my computer today and thought man, I need a new wallpaper...and a couple hours ago, I got really bored so I was like this is the PERFECT time for me to make myself a wallpaper! So here is a tiny pic of what my desktop looks like now! And yes, I did use the picture I drew earlier, I just kinda traced it digitally and used photoshop to put in the rest of the stuff...those flowers are brushes from aethereality.net....such an awesome place to get photshop brushes! (click on the pic for the full size version)

I haven't died from lung failure yet!

HELLO ALL!!!! well, first things first.....today i woke up at 5:30am and left the house at 6:30am to go stand in line for my drivers test...and miraculously, I PASSED HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA watch out Celia and Anya you don't wanna die a horrible death! Lol, you too doc, you never know if you might accidentally meet me on the road...haha! Well I don't think you all have to worry so much yet because I'm pretty sure my parents won't trust me enough to let me drive. I was REALLY lucky today because apparently all the mean testers were here today at the Dillingham test place...somehow, despite my terrible luck, I got the SUPER nice lady...and if I had gotten one number later than I did I would have gotten the EXTREMELY mean lady who practically never lets anyone pass...and even if you were a good driver, she'd make you drive even longer and wait till you make a mistake....but whatever I'm glad I passed!

Next, I shall comment on doc's email about the the liquid battery. All I have to say is LOL! What a coincidence! and we were talking about it towards the end of physics too! And I ALWAYS laugh when doc sends us emails that are titled "this is amazing stuff!" HAHAHAHA man it cracks me up whenever doc is enthusiastic LOL! I don't know why, but it's just so funny! actually doc, if you're reading this, you should email me at ayli@andrew.cmu.edu from now on...I don't check the iolani email that often anymore...

Ok, next thing that has happened! Apparently I now have mild intermittent asthma due to my pneumonia...so I have this round inhaler-ish thing called advair...and I actually think my coughs are getting better now, so hooray for that too!

And finally, I decided to upload two random drawings that I drew. So what happened was my friend and I were chatting and we decided to tell each other to create original characters (we call them OC's) The first thing my friend asked me to draw was a cute court jester LOL! Originally I planned out this really cute outfit and stuff but after drawing the head, I gave up! I might finish him up later tho....then the second thing she asked me to do was to create an older sister for her OC (her OC is some gang/mafia leader LOL) well neways it's only the head again because I couldn't figure out how to draw the rest of the body in the right proportions LOL shoulda taken art classes on how to draw people! BUT! I'm gonna design some dresses for her and I'll put those up later....I'm thinking of designing one of those Chinese qipao dresses...hope that goes well for me!

I'm still alive.....

hello all!
you may be wondering wtf have i been doing... well believe it or not, i was sick!
yes people i was sick (dont laugh doc)...dammit.....i had a fever for like 10 days and was isolated at a hospital for 5.5 days (you had to go thru two doors to get to my room and they passed stuff to me thru a box...kinda like in house...but the rooms looked better in house...but i had a nice ocean view)...turns out i had pneumonia..=_=.....man was i BORED... thank god there was a TV....if i didn't die from pneumonia...i prolly woulda died from boredom...man, having pneumonia is pretty bad.... i coughed a whole lot, threw up once, and didn't even want to eat... i went into the hospital weighing 50kg and then today i came out weighing 46.5 kg.....=_= and that's not even counting the weight i lost from the 10 days i was sick....i think i lost a total of like 18lbs.....man, if i were to lose 18 lbs, it would prolly take me 10 years of exercise......i guess not eating really does work.....and not only that! i felt my calves last night, and felt that my calf muscles have atrophied!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!.....man...this is the worst trip ever......but since i was so bored i did draw alot.....i guess i'll scan them later.... but yeah...that's pretty much all i did on my vacation so far: suffer.....

APs are OVER therefore NEW BLOG!!!!~~~

AH YES APs are FINALLY over!!!!! Yay for that.....and I guess I'll sulk about my scores later, now is a time for celebration!!! So here are the things that I think I will do with my newfound free time:
-make little plush key chains out of felt.....(i saw them on DA months ago and told myself i will make those after APs)
-draw lots of random pictures!! whoot!
-try to be god again by playing sims once more
-go hiking with my cousin and her college buddies
-learn to make pop-up books
-maybe practice digital painting.....
-KARAOKE!!!!
-and if one day i woke up and grew 5 inches and had a super-awesome figure and cool clothes, i would go clubbing haha
